This is one of my favorite sculpture of all time. One day a woman stepped inside my studio and pointed at "the wind beneath my wings" sculpture that I once made. She said, "I have had a rough time the past month" later she described a horrifying time filled with loss and sickness. Then she ended up saying, " When I look at your sculpture I feel hope, it draws my mind to our eternal hope in heaven. Nowadays I mostly spend my time in bed and I want something like this to hang over it".
Tears went down my cheek. I made, Lift me up. And I prayed to God it would help her.
